Tabletop Furnace Co. was founded on the principles of product innovation, exemplary service, and dedication to our customers. After reviewing the existing marketplace for portable, high powered firing kilns, we felt strongly that the marketplace was lacking the unique combination of quality and low cost, and we have built our company to fill this void.
Tabletop produces high-powered, highly efficient kilns designed for metal clay, jewelry, and ceramics artists. We strive to incorporate the latest in technological innovation and functionality in every one of our products, while providing top-level support and resources for our customers.

Our company headquarters are located in the heart of the Northwestern United States at:
22525 7th Ave South
Des Moines, WA 98198
Our RapidHeat technology is composed of a precise length of resistance wire to pump out 1500 watts of maximum heating power. From there the resistance wire is custom coiled, re-stretched and embedded into our incredibly low thermal conductive ceramic insulation.
This embedded element coil completely surrounds the firing chamber in two rows, maximizing the internal surface area being heated, therefore drastically reducing our firing times compared to those of our competitors.
Cerakote High Temperature Coatings are the industry leading line of ceramic coatings and are used by more manufacturers than any other high temperature paint. All Tabletop kilns are available in the following Cerakote colors:
- Glacier Black
- Screamin' Yellow
- Bright Silver
- Stoplight Red
- Lollipop Purple
- Blue Flame
Tabletop kilns are carefully engineered to maximize electrical input, resulting in extremely powerful, yet energy efficient functionality.
With a maximum achievable temperature of 2200 F (1205 C), our QuikMelt and RapidFire Pro kilns are capable of handling even the most demanding projects including Precious Metal Clays, Glaze Testings, Glass and Jewelry Making, and Metal Treatment of gold, silver, sterling silver, copper, aluminum, bronze, lead, and Zinc!
Gemcolite-Alumina Insulation is formed using a composition of alumina-silicate, alumina and mullite fibers and include both inorganic and organic binders for excellent handling strength and material integrity at high temperatures. Gemcolite-Alumina is suitable for applications up to 3000 F (1650 C).
By incorporating Gemcolite-Alumina into our designs, we are able to dramatically reduce product weights without sacrificing performance. At just 12 lbs, Tabletop kilns are some of the lightest in the industry.
Tabletop uses Digital PID Temperature Controllers in all of our QuikMelt and RapidFire series kilns. These controllers are ideal for precise temperature control and include auto-tuning functionality, five types of control output methods, and two LED indicators for relay and control output indications.
At just 48mm x 24mm x 75mm, these digital controllers are also small enough to minimize weight and surface area.
Each of our kiln lines comes equipped with an 80mm LED cooling fan, which not only protects the units electrical components, but also helps to circulate air flow for added durability.
